Lily Marie Jahn is a Brooklyn based Dance and Aerial Artist, Movement Researcher, 500 RYT Yoga teacher, fully certified Pilates instructor, and Certified GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Trainer. Lily's interest in movement research is rooted in the belief that movement is our most ancient form of communication.
Lily's dance training as a fellowship student at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and LINES Ballet led to a career with Lars Kubinsky Dance, as well as guest appearances with ballet and modern companies across the country and abroad. She has presented her choreography in gallery venues and theaters alike, and founded Dancer:BodyofWork in 2019 as an archival project by and for dancers. She has a deep connection to her family home in Vermont.
Lily has been fortunate to study with exceptionally talented master trainers at Rishikesh Yoga Home, and in the GYROTONIC® community as well as founder Juliu Horvath. She has taught Yoga, GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® to private clients and group classes since 2011, and finds she is most at home while working with clients, guiding them in their own movement voice.
Lily is teaching at Erika Bloom studios in New York City and the Hamptons, as well as offering private in person and virtual programing to clients by appointment.

GYROTONIC® exercises can be used both as a primary movement method or in conjunction with your other training routines. It has many holistic benefits and can be used for physical rehabilitation post injury, or to benefit whole body health and keep you moving throughout your life.
GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® classes can be adapted to fit anyone's ability. The GYROTONIC® method is practiced by people from all walks of life, including accomplished athletes and dancers, new moms, 9-5ers, seniors, and people with disabilities.
